Feral Instincts explores perceived identity as individuals and as groups, relationships, family and pack mentality. My photographs are in-camera constructs where animal heads are printed on photographic paper and mounted on cardboard to create masks.

My photographs play with contradictions, concealing but still voyeuristic, while showcasing a familial setting confronted to an ominous aesthetic, blurring the narratives of vernacular photography with surrealism.

With my photographs, I wish to distort classic narratives and ultimately question them.
